Australian Infront is a collaborative creative site that was established in 1999. The purpose of the site was to provide a space for creatives to engage on a variety of topics through the forum and to showcase the work of Australian graphic designers.
Since it’s conception, the site has evolved to feature design related events, news and the work of Australian creatives on a daily basis. The forum is utilised by a large community of over 20,000 members.
The re-launch of the site in 2010 saw the introduction of an Events section that allowed for the coverage of events such as Semi Permanent, Australian Fashion Week and Higher Learning. A Job section was also introduced, which provides employers with the ability to target a specific audience of Australian creative’s.
The same year saw the introduction of the Apple talk series 'Infront Presents', the return of Visual Response, Studio profiles and Ask Me Anything with Jeremy Wortsman along with Australian Infront’s first music / art event 'Designer Disco'.
This year has seen a collaboration between Jacky Winter and Infront to present a design conference by the name of Field Trip, a new branding, a portfolio and market section in addition to the launch of an entirely new site.
Australian Infront continues to aim to support the work of all Australian creatives with a range of tools and events.
