I'm working solo on a branding project for very difficult client. I've reached the point of no return and for a multitude of reasons I need to let this client go.
The issue is I've taken a 50% deposit for this project. To date I've put around 14 hours work into it without the client being satisfied to move beyond the initial concept phase (I provided 4 logo concepts, as per my terms and conditions, and in a show of good faith I gave her an additional 2 concepts). The client was made aware of my process (4 concepts of which you choose one to take to completion, with 3 rounds of changes) and is expressing their dissatisfaction, despite me following the brief.
My question is: do I keep the 50% deposit, given they were provided with 6 concepts and more than 14 hours of my time, or do I return the deposit as the final logo has not been provided and I need to jump ship to save my sanity and the prospect of this blowing out further.

Hi all,
I'm working solo on a branding project for very difficult client. I've reached the point of no return and for a multitude of reasons I need to let this client go.
The issue is I've taken a 50% deposit for this project. Any advice is much appreciated.
