Brains Vs. Looks (book covers)

same as any other product that uses graphic design to sell it - 1st question should be NOT whats on the cover or how cool it is but:
who is it for?
Hard question.
I would normally spend some time building up a potential buyer - not just a generic M/F in their 20's but a person with a name, job, hobby, interests, imagine what would be the last book that person has read, what mags he/she flicked through waiting for the train, does he/she/it drinks late or cappuccino etc
I would also use another person ( over the years i have build a whole family for different kinds of jobs )
and see what would or not work for that person.
This I find to be a great tool to help me in creative direction as well as presentation and "defence" in front of the client.

Hi Lads/Ladettes
Im trying to find references to old AIF members work - male - was profiled in AIF members section on the old AIF site - did amazing motion graphics work TV intros and promos for, i believe SBS, - in same section there were some other amazing designers and work done for SBS news graphics.
If anyone could help me find those geniuses and their fantastic work and folios it would be grand.

Thanks for the comments all!
@davs - yep, I use quicksilver on 10.6.4 without any issues. CS4 drives me crazy though.
