Strange illustrator question

:: I tried to record an action by finding one of these items set to 0% Registration and then change to white but that didn't work at all.
Instead of trying to find one, draw one, with the 0% rego colour. Have it draw & colour it as the first step in the action. Then do the select same fill & stroke, make the change. I just tried it & it worked. Still have to do 1 file at a time tho.
