I suppose my objective of writing the article was to try to define and reinforce how companies should treat interns to ensure they benefit from their time at the company and leave having learnt something. I hope that comes across.
I think without my initial internship at MTV, my career, and life for that matter, could have gone in a very different direction and I believe the more juniors who get to experience what I did the better :) But I also want to make sure that it is done in the correct way and by playing by the rules, not just taking advantage of eager juniors :)
