We're currently paying about $40 a month for a license, CS master collection retails at about $3000. Unless we plan on upgrading less than twice a decade, we're getting good value.
I guess the danger is Adobe can always hike up the prices.
That aside, The predictable cashflow vs large one off expenses alone is good value for a small business.

I'm actually a big fan of creative cloud. As a business owner it's nice to have a monthly, almost immaterial expense instead of having to part ways with thousands of dollars in a massive lump sum every time you want to upgrade or kit out a new workstation.
You also get just about *everything* adobe makes, which has really helped us expand the studio's skillset and makes the whole thing incredibly good value (for us at least).
