I’m an ideas-driven graphic designer specialising in branding and visual identity design with added skills in motion design. Currently based in Sydney after five years experience in London agencies.
What makes me different to other branding and visual identity designers is that I’m able to think in motion, to help bring visual identities alive right from the start of a project, instead of being an afterthought.
With over five years of experience, I have worked at branding agencies in London such as Interbrand, Thinkfarm, Bisqit and Red Bee, with experience also at motion agencies and broadcasters including the BBC and Sky.
A new club night for new and emerging talent in Shoreditch needed an identity.
It needed to be unique enough to stand out on its own amongst the vast array of club nights.
It’s hosted by Radio X DJ Jack Oliver Saunders, so needed to be linked also to his own identity.
The identity was based around a pixellation device. Pixels emerge and form together to become a bigger picture representing new talent emerging and forming into new and developing artists.
The logo is simple and strong in appearance. It is positioned upwards, representing talent that is going upwards in their career.
