I am a graphic and textile print designer, letterer, illustrator and a calligraphic aficionada.
Originally from Catalonia, I moved to Australia in 2006, where I secured a company who sponsored me as a lead graphic designer for 3 years.
In 2011 I studied a Postgraduate Course in Advanced Typography in Barcelona, and in 2012 a Typeface Design Condensed Program at Cooper Union in New York City.
In 2011 I co-founded a textile and print design studio called MarchTwentyTwo in collaboration with fashion designer Laura Piera. The studio is focused on art prints, limited edition scarves, calligraphy workshops and other analogue crafts.
Nowadays, I split my time between Melbourne and Barcelona working on textile prints, illustration commissions, lettering projects and calligraphic personal development.
I am currently teaching various calligraphy workshops in Melbourne.
Our good friends Kanch and Albert Porta decided to get married last November 2013 in Jaipur (India). We had the honour of being part of this amazing event and we wanted to give a very special present to both of them and to the rest of the wedding guests. The branding and the attention to detail of every day's single item of the wedding celebration was absolutely amazing.
We decided to give our special present away on the night called “Rumba Catalana” . The theme of that night was red colour base with white dots, so we decided to create a textile print design based on this idea.
We chose 100% modal for the fabric composition and we flocked white dots on top. This is the result.
