Proud, happy owner of a well-thumbed, dog-earred 1st edition copy of Shaughnessy's "how to be a graphic designer without losing your soul". Could not recommend the book highly enough, Shaughnessy give some incredibly generous and considerate advice. Would really love to try out 6 thinking hats :-)

Definitely purchase How to be a Graphic Designer, tiff-taff. Well worth the read and I reckon it's full of information that's meaningful to new designers (coming from another student)

In fact if I happen to win I'll definitely choose it and give it away to someone on AIF who doesn't already have it. Well worth it. Love that book :)

I'm really interested in the 'Do good design' title, sounds perfect for designers to start realising the power that they have over perceptions. Hmmm..!
