Can anyone recommend a good accountant? The usual, qualified, trustworthy and reasonable charge out rate etc..
Probably a small accountancy or one-man/lady accountant, would suit a small designer like myself
Any recommendations/tips/suggestions appreciated
I know a pretty good one - they've got a focus on smaller businesses.
Bridgette at Baybridge Consultants in Brighton.
Thanks. Do you use them yourself?

Appears he works for them.
I currently use another accountant, but have since met Bridgette and will be changing accountants in the new financial year.
p.s. i wouldn't make a recommendation that would reflect badly on me - i know baybridge do a really good job so i'm absolutely happy to recommend them.
Nothing wrong with recommending one of your clients. Just be open about it.
fair call, however i would have recommended them before they became a client (they've only been a client for about 3 weeks), but i've known bridgette now for about 4 months.
Ok thanks. Are they a Registered ATO Tax Agent?
Any other creatives happy to recommend their Accountants? seems very hard to get word-of-mouth on bean-counters.. but they are a necessary evil
Any and all considered. TIA
