Adobe Creative Cloud - Individuals vs Business subscription

Posted 22.09.2014 @ 2.56PM

Just looked up and Individuals is $49.99/month. vs $69.99/m for Business.

The only diff I can see is Business has 100GB cloud storage, centralised license/payment management and 2 expert services call a year (which is meh)

I'm assuming apart from these everything else is identical? ie. Individual allows one to install CC applications on two machines? regardless of OS. so for example one on a mac desktop and on on mac laptop?

I'm a Ltd Company and assume I can sign up on individual or does one have to go for Business? Saving $20 p/m would really help affordability wise. Just one to check with others which they have gone for and in a similar setup...

Late reply, but don't know if you got an answer elsewhere. Yeah, same products. I use a business license at work, and a personal one at home. The business one is a rip off, it's purely about businesses needing centrally managed licenses.

Thanks for the reply Adrian. I have held out long enough, but I think I have no choice but to dive into the abyss with a subscription. Prices are now $57.99/month vs 79.99/month!

If one signs up on an individual, can they switch to a Business one later?

Or I guess, stop the individual sub and start up a new Business one?

Also, are there any discount codes around for these subscriptions, I guess Adobe have us by the nuts and there is No other alternatives right?

There is no problem using it for business, apart from the year tie-in. There have been threads before about CS saying you could but many people run a business with the individual CC plan with no problems, you will be fine! And if you mostly use Photoshop, then you will also like these http://fixthephoto.com/free-photoshop-textures
