business cards on brown paper - or print the brown?

looking at sourcing reasonably priced light brown card for 6 x 500 business cards. most of the printers i've spoken too don't have specialty papers in stock. i'm using red as my predominant colour so really need to test a few. anyone know of any reasonably priced printers that have a good selection of specialty papers.
my local go to printer has suggested printing the coloured stock eg picture of cardboard and laminating it so it looks like covered card.
all help would be appreciated.
ps i'm not at all fussy about paper - just want a slight tint and grain (think letterpress examples)
As others said, Buffalo Board would be suitable for you. It does print digitally relatively well, but you'll have to find a printer who will run it through their press. Note: there is slightly smoother lighter side, and a coarser darker side.
Buffalo is not that expensive - it's just that you'll be quoted a lot for it because not all printers have it in ready stock. Paper companies charge considerably less to printers for buying larger mill packs (~100 larger sheets), and the first job usually foots the bill for the entire mill pack.
