@Dan events like this cost a ton to put on. I would hate to think what the running costs of a multiple day event like CSSConf would be.
I have absolutely no doubt that the prices are a direct reflection of this.

Lol. Yep, the CSS guys should have consulted with some typography folk for their logo me thinks. ;)
And WOW, that is a lot! I appreciate the time/expense to put these things on, but that's way more than a multiday music festival, which must also cost a bomb to put on.
