after recommendations for a geotargeting plugin...to deliver content to any users accessing from country xxx
on my wordpress website, I want to deliver either
- different content/a popup/different text
or maby just redirect to a new page specific for that country [perhaps also limiting access to other pages]
You'd be better off doing it via a PHP include on the relevant page, using if/else function to deliver the relevant content.
***These PHP functions looks handy:***
I've never used them personally, so not sure how reliable they are.
***This guy has a JSON/PHP method with a map too, (I've yet to test it myself):***
Bit hard to test any of these I suppose if you're doing different countries as you'd most likely need a VPN or some way to trick it into thinking you were from a different country.
Really interested to hear what method you end up using.
thanks, will look into it...
