I can't believe it's June already.
I keep adding more creatures to this, so I guess it's still a work in progress.
WIP here too Maybe a T-Shirt design, or some stickers for Zen Garage. Really not happy with him yet:
He's a Daruma Doll. Named after the OG Chinese Zen Master, Bodidharma, who lost the use of his arms and legs after sitting nine years meditating in a cave.
Daruma dolls usually come with both eyes blank. You paint one eye and make a wish or begin a new project. The second eye is painted when the wish comes true or the project is completed.

Feeling inspired after watching *Akira* again last night, hopefully for a one colour screen print poster.
Needs a lot of work down the bottom section, but happy (enough to share) so far.

3m x 2.5m wall in Bristol. Had two days to this and its mixed media, rain was coming down a lot so really wasn't as clean as I hoped it could of been but overall was happy with the outcome as was trying something different.
Yeah that's pretty cool Justin. Nice use of texture. Perhaps defining the bridge of the nose might help.
Jomapi, cool poster, post up a piccy of the finished print if ya can! My print's just an anatomy assignment that got a bit off track and ended up like this.
NIiiice James, I think the roughness suits the medium. curios to see how long paste-ups last in dreary English weather.
Technically this isn't June, but had to hold off on showing it because it was for a poster competition.
