I just recently moved to Melbourne and I'm do wedding / couple and family photography.
I was wondering where I can market / advertise myself for prospective clients. Gumtree, feels "meeh" - and I'm just a little bit too shy to walk up to strangers.
Any idea or suggestions?
Photos are made for social media - and make sure your website is Pinterest friendly. It's amazing how many "wedding" pinterest boards there are, and they spread.
Gumtree is a good way to promote, specially now you are in AU. Second option is social medias. It will help you to get fast attention.
Gumtree is for cheapskates.
Think outside the box. Cross promote yourself with family friendly places or other businesses like florists, day spa's, holiday venues.
