I have a client saying an organisation they are partnering with wants a vector file of his logo to put on their website.
I designed the logo but I don't know if I should send him a vector file of the logo with a black box behind it or not. I think it looks stronger, or more apparent, when it has a black box but I don't know if that's a design faux pas.
How did you present the logo to the client and how do they usually display the logo? I'd be guided by that.
I put together these kind of supporter lists all the time and you get all sorts of logos. I wouldn't worry too much about what other logos it sits next to, but I would make sure I supplied the format (horizontal or stacked) that meant the logo displayed clearly.
