do not complain later when we are sued for things like restricting tobacco sales because it affects a companies profit, regardless of the health implications, based purely and solely on profit
also think - these evil bastards pay little or no tax here
We have two days left to tell the Senate not to sign Australia up to secret corporate courts under the TPP and other trade deal.
Already, over 130,000 Australians have called on Tony Abbott to drop the TPP. But now, Greens Senator Peter Whish-Wilson has introduced a bill aimed at ruling out one of the worst parts of the TPP: investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), or secret international courts that would allow corporations to sue national governments.
Senator Whish-Wilson needs our help to make the case for the bill. If thousands of ordinary Australians write in to the Senate and share our concerns about investor-state dispute settlement, we can build support to reject these corporate courts.
Can you take 2 minutes to send a message explaining why you don't want the government signing up to secret courts under the TPP or other trade deals?
