I've so far been hired to design one wine label for a winery and have sent them their concepts developed from the brief we came up with together. From here, I 'd like to invoice them a progress payment and then continue on.
Could I have some advice please from those more experienced about how to put this invoice across? I've kept a time record of each part of the process so far eg: concept development...meeting with label printer....refinement of graphics for concept presentation etc...BUT, should I include these on the invoice or keep them to myself and just put the end $$ amount owed so far. NOTE - the client wants a whole other wine label series developed from here, possibly 6 in total.
