I am a designer living in New York City and am considering in moving to Australia on a working holiday visa.
Which city is best for design opportunities? Right now I am thinking Melbourne.
Are there any other designers who moved to Australia on a working holiday? I would love to hear your experiences.
Depends on the level and type of role you're wanting.
At the moment it seems as though Sydney as more opportunities in both digital and print.
However you'll probably have more fun in Melbourne. ;)
Swings and roundabouts it seems. A few years ago Melbourne had all the jobs, with many from Sydney & Brisbane moving there as a result. If @MISS_SPIKED is right, then that has now reversed to Sydney, perhaps because of everyone moving to Melbourne!
I was getting excited about Fluffy's advice...then I clicked on your website. SPAM
Haha agreed @6ixty - although if they are talking about arts grants, they probably aren't wrong to be honest
