Mid Level Digital Creatives
Digital Agency Komosion is currently looking to add some talented mid level digital creatives to it's growing Melbourne team. We are looking for self starters who are passionate and dedicated about the work they produce. This is a great chance to work on exciting new projects for existing and new business. Opportunities exist for an immediate start for successful applicants.
We are looking for someone who can work closely with our Creative Director and Project Managers as well as bring their own ideas to the table. Your an excellent communicator and can run with a project from taking client briefs to working up inspiring concepts and then being able to work hands on with our team to deliver an awesome solution. You won't be required to do much coding, however a thorough understanding of html, css and interactive design is highly beneficial. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity to let your wings spread as you get exposed to a variety of formats and media within a fun team environment.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Work with the Creative Director to develop and/or follow existing design styles
- Work collaboratively with clients from taking the initial brief through to working up inspiring concepts and helping to fulfil production requirements
- Can work well in a team environment
- Preferably be able to work from our Melbourne office
Qualifications
+ 5 years or more experience working in a web design agency
+ An understanding of the importance of corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography
+ Ability to sketch / storyboard ideas
+ Mastery of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS3/4
+ The ability to take a project from initial brief to completion
+ Have excellent time management and organisational skills
+ Standout portfolio of website designs, digital ads and EDM work
+ Lead or support the presentation of design solutions to clients
+ Actively participate in meetings and critiques of work
+ Understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards
+ Good understanding of web technologies and emerging Internet trends (eg CMS's, AJAX, user generated content, accessibility).
+ Experience in designing websites for large corporate sector clients
+ Knowledge of User Experience design an Information Architecture a bonus
