Six month contract with view to full time
Initially based in Bondi Beach, NSW
Satisfraction is an exciting new online marketplace. We are looking for an 'A' team post-graduate web developer / programmer to join us as Technical Lead as we grow.
Not often do you get the chance to walk in on the ground floor of the next big thing, but this is your chance! We are a group of experienced businessmen looking for a passionate, hard working individual who can oversee the development of our platform through its Beta stage and get it ready to scale up - fast.
We are looking for someone with skills weighted towards back end programming. You will be responsible for managing our platform, built using the Play framework.
Programming Experience required:
• High-level database management
• Play Framework (Java based framework)
• PostgreSQL
• HTML5 / Javascript / CSS
• PHP
• AJAX
• Python
• JQuery
System Administration Experience required:
• Linux
• Apache
• DB management
• VMWare / WHM
• DNS
Responsibilities will include
• Maintaining existing systems and servers
• Ongoing technical development of our core technology / API
• Scaling up the site - going international
• Site security
• Database and back end administration
• Front end support
• Working with other Dev Teams and Business Analysts in integrating our API into third party systems
