We’re not looking for someone to bang out some wireframes and send them down the line, we’re looking for people who can have valuable input across all parts of our process. So we need someone who has a deep knowledge of iterative user centered design, and shallower knowledge about coding, tech, visual design etc.
UX plays a central role in our work, so we’re also looking for someone who’s comfortable taking a leading role in deciding the direction of our projects.
Responsibilities:
•Facilitate and advocate a user centered design process
•Participate in user research (interviews, user testing etc.)
•Meet with our clients to understand their requirements (business analysis / BA)
•Lead and participate in groups generating ideas and brainstorming
•Sketch high level strategic concepts to answer user and business needs
•Produce information architecture (IA) and interactive prototypes in appropriate technologies (working in something clickable like Axure or similar is a minimum)
•Present solutions to clients in a clear and compelling way
•Oversee the implementation of solutions and provide tactical interaction design as required
Other highly regarded skills:
•Visual design
•Coding and interactive development (Flash/HTML etc.)
•A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
•Experience working in agile, multi-disciplinary project teams
