The Distillery are at it again, and are putting on a premiere of their new collection.
Titled 'Frontiers', the creative merchandise explores alternative pasts and futures, and the concept of 'wander' and 'wonder'. Pieces include limited edition prints, notebooks, clothing, jewellery and gifts.
To celebrate the premiere, on Friday December 6 they're hosting a small festival for Sydney designers. The event featuring letterpress mini-workshops, showbags, and live performances from bands: The Vitabeats, and The Faults.
If you ever studied design in Sydney at Billy Blue College, or UTS, you've probably heard of Andrew and Lissa Barnum. It's not common knowledge, but the popular head of school and lecturer due are very musical too. In the 80's they had a top 3 chart-hit "Boom Box", and judging by their music video... they definitely know how to party. The Faults are a two piece garage band from Sydney.
Frontiers' Letterpress workshops can be booked from 3pm, and the main event starts at 6pm. Spaces are limited, so check out the website.
