Holiday reading

How to make gravy - Paul Kelly's so called mongrel memoir, has sat on my bedside table for the best part of a year. It's been my constant companion throughout the Xmas to New Year period. What I thought would be a typical music industry book turned out to be anything but.

Kelly share his thoughts and experiences on living a creative life, writing. travel, family and, believe it or not, dark and forgotten moments in Australian history. It's a big call I know, but I think this book should be on school reading lists. It's just been released in paperback and I suggest you go get a copy for yourself. Just don't go leaving it on your bedside table for a year like I did.
