Jeff Canham & Kanoa Zimmerman

Art, Exhibits, Events, Photography

In May of 2014 artist Jeff Canham and photographer Kanoa Zimmerman spent a week exploring the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico, drawn there by the rich tradition of hand-painted signs, the abundance of colorful scenery and the lure of warm water surf. The state has had a long history as an influencial boiling pot of cultures and traditions, it has also been home to some of Mexico's most famous artists including Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

Following on from their well received Japan exhibition and book launches last year, Canham and Zimmerman are bringing their distinctively bright paintings and photographs to Sydney for a one off show at Mild Manners Project Gallery.

Opening this Friday, March 6th from 6-8pm and continuing until March 21.

MMPG - Level 1, 499 Crown St, Surry Hills (Above Title Store).
