Maurits Cornelis (no wonder he went with M.C.) Escher once said “Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible. I think it’s in my basement… let me go upstairs and check.”
Go Upstairs was obviously not the greatest name for a conference so am glad Ken Cato and the team at agIdeas went with Look Upstairs for the theme of this year’s conference.
Taking place within the first week in April—with 41 speakers from 20 nations—it promises to be a mind blowing event, with practitioners from multiple disciplines (including communication, product, industrial, advertising, digital, lighting, sound and the built environment) all contributing to the conversation, that innovation comes from collaboration.
Various other events and workshops are taking place over the three days, with single day passes also available.
