Nicholas Goodger

Design, Illustration, Typography

To say I'm an average skateboarder is being generous. That said, I've held it as a passion and interest for almost 30 years now. Skateboarding and art have always gone hand in hand for me, and it's quite often that I discover some of my favorite artists/ designers/ photographers etc. via skateboarding.

That's how I found Nicholas Goodger, a typographer based in Sydney that I happened upon in Tansworld Skateboarding's 'The Cinematographer Project' for Pass-Port. Specializing in hand lettering that has strong references to mid-century lettering and illustration, whilst his person works take on more abstract themes surrounding the highs and lows of daily life. Nicholas is fast becoming a favorite.
