Here’s a date for your diary: Semi-Permanent is taking over Carriageworks in Sydney from 22nd-24th May 2014.

Co-founders Andrew Johnstone and Murray Bell are touting next year’s event as the biggest yet with a line-up of designers, artists and creative icons converging on the Carriageworks auditorium to present 18 talks over three-days.

The festival will also include exhibitions and installations, daily film screenings, music performances, parties, workshops and networking events.

Semi-Permanent will reveal next year’s line-up in early 2014, but past speakers and exhibiting artists include Banksy, Roman Coppola, Francis Ford Coppola & Jason Schwartzman, Wieden+Kennedy, Pixar, Gary Baseman, Jeffrey Dietch, Olivier Zahm, Ed Templeton, Droga5 and Weta Digital.
