Art, Exhibits

Having spent a year in London, local artist Kevin Tran returns to Sydney with a new exhibition to share with his hometown.

South Of The River’ is the much-anticipated third installment in Kevin Tran’s ongoing series of work following the successful ‘Strobe’ exhibition in 2010 and his debut show, ‘Between Two Worlds’ in 2008. Defying traditional art exhibition convention, 'South Of The River' presents Kevin’s new paintings through a series of custom curated events offering people a variety of channels and formats to engage and connect with the artist’s new works.

In collaboration with contemporary creative space Under New Management, streetwear boutique Capsule and locally based Cake Wines, ‘South Of The River’ kicks off with the opening night launch on Thursday 23 January, followed by a rooftop dinner, artist talks, pop-up studio and t-shirt collaboration concluding with a live charity auction and closing party.
